A dissertation defense by Nigar Tuncer is scheduled for
Wednesday, July 16, 2008, 11:00 AM, LN 2205.

The dissertation, "Globalization Theorems in Topology", was supervised
by Patricia McAuley. Additional departmental examiners Laura Anderson
and Thomas Farrell will be joined by outside examiner Dr. Jean
Schmittau, School of Education, Binghamton University.

Abstract: The talk will begin with some history, a brief discussion of
the main references and a summary of the research included in the
dissertation. More details will then be provided about a
strengthening of a theorem of E. Michael and/or results obtained about
the inversible fibrations defined by Dyer and Eilenberg.
