Title: The Extension Space Conjecture for Oriented Matroids

The Extension Space Conjecture is perhaps the most succinct manifestation of
the great meta-question of oriented matroid theory: "How well do oriented
matroids model real vector arrangements"? I'll give an overview of the
problem and the limited progress that's been made.
