*Title: *On the topological rigidity of quasi-toric manifolds
 *
Abstract:* Quasi-toric spaces were defined by Danis-Januszkiewicz as
a generalization of toric varieties. Their main feature is that they
admit a nice map to a polyhedron that is a fiber bundle over the open
faces. That map induces a natural stratification of the spaces. In this
talk we will show that if a space is stratified homotopic equivalent to
a quasi-toric manifold then it is stratified homeomorphic to it. The
proof uses standard techniques by constructing the homeomorphism over
the faces and extending inductively.
