   Title: Desingularizing Homology Manifolds 
          (joint with Bryant, Mio, and Weinberger)

ABSTRACT:
We prove that if X is a closed ANR homology manifold with dim X > 5,
then there exist a closed DDP ANR homology manifold Y and a cell-like
map Y --> X.
